What is the best deal in prepaid for someone who uses his phone very rarely?
So my wife and I both are looking into prepaid. She is mainly just using it for wifi texting and surfing. It’s a Sony Erickson G900, mine is a Verizon LG. The time has come to pick a prepaid card carrier and grab A Sim Card, although we’d use it only for emergencies. Between these two phones what are our best options?
AT&T, T-mobile, whatever, what do you suggest and why?
I would recommend Air Voice. They have really long expiration times on their minutes and are really cheap starting at 10 cents per minutes and less.They also have both a plan that runs on Att (sim) and one that runs on Verizon. They can sell you a sim to put in her G900 and you can have them put your Verizon phone on their system.
The Verizon network under them called AirVoice Express is the better deal. 700 minutes/$50/one year expiration.
The Air Voice gsm under Att prepaid is similar but slightly more expensive. I think you need $100 for a year, $50 for 6 months. You can order a sim only kit from them or activate a regular unused Att Prepaid Sim on their plan. It should work in any Att or unlocked gsm phone.
Neither has any web at all but your wife has wifi so that is irrelevant.
Be warned though that if you go with them on your Verizon phone and you accept their free starter minutes (I think it was 100), they will hold your esn for six months before releasing it.
They are small but have been around for years. I think that one company which has both Verizon and Att prepaid to offer (under their own brand name) gives a lot of options to prepaid users under one roof.

Information sources used by tourists: Resources consulted by American, German, and Japanese visitors to Taiwan. $49.99 The Taiwan travel information resources used by American, German, and Japanese tourists in 2006 are identified and analyzed in this study. Differences among demographic groups regarding types of information accessed, spending behaviors, and levels of satisfaction with available travel resources were examined. The study was based on analysis of quantitative data obtained through a survey administered by the Taiwanese Tourism Bureau regarding tourist trip planning factors. Results of this study showed that Japanese used newspaper and magazine (printed materials) information sources more than did Germans; the Americans and Germans used interne information sources more than did the Japanese. This study examined how cultural patterns of communication behaviors appeared to influence travelers' choices of tourist information resources. The study results showed that different cultural groups from different nations prefer selected travel information resources. Tourism leaders interested in appealing to differential traveler markets need to be culturally sensitive to what may be previously held attitudes about the utility of information resources, as well as previously held attitudes toward a travel destination such as Taiwan. Also, people of different age groups and educational levels differ in their use of information resources, with younger and more educated groups seeking travel information resources most. Travelers' prior knowledge and experiences also influenced their use of information sources and types of itinerary plans.
